Xinjiang Medical University Ürümqi Admission 2026- Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Xinjiang Medical University’s admission process for the international MBBS program follows the guidelines of the Ministry of Education of China and the International Education College. It is merit-based and primarily online.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Non-Chinese citizens, good health and moral character.

• Age: 17–25/30 years (typically 18+ by Sept 1).

• Academic: Senior high school (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (minimum 50-60% in PCB).

• NEET qualified for Indian students.

• English proficiency (often not mandatory if prior education in English; additional Chinese language support provided).

Application Process:

1. Apply online via the university’s international portal.

2. Upload documents (passport, transcripts, NEET scorecard, physical exam, etc.).

3. Pay application/registration fee.

4. Application review.

5. Receive Admission Letter and JW202 Form.

6. Apply for X1 student visa and register (September intake).
