Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College- AKG Ghaziabad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admissions 2026-27 are open for B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA and MCA programs, and are based on both merit and entrance. AKG Engneering College admission process is based on both online and offline methods. The admission eligibility criteria vary by program. The registration for Direct Admissions can be done using the akgec.ac.in/admissions link, and through Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) based on JEE (Mains) Score. The registration for UPTAC counselling is held at the AKTU level. 

Admission for B.Tech. is done based on direct admission based on 12th percentage and JEE (Mains) Score, and Performance in the test conducted by AKGEC and Interview. Admission for the MCA program in the 1st Year, a candidate must have passed (with/without grace) BCA/B.Sc /B.Com./B.A. of three years’ minimum duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level from any recognized Indian University; or equivalent, recognized by A.I.U.

Important admissions update below:-

• The admission for the first session to B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan programs of the JEE Main 2026 registration process is expected to begin in November 2025.

• The UPTAC Counselling 2025 has released the round-wise seat allotment results for admission to the B.Tech and Integrated B.Tech programs.
