Amrita School of Medicine Kochi Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Amrita School of Medicine (ASM), Kochi admits students through centralised counselling. 

Selection Criteria: NEET-UG score + MCC All India counselling

Eligibility Criteria

For MBBS:

• Age: Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2026 (or turn 17 by that date).

• Academic Qualification:

  • Passed Class XII (10+2) or equivalent from a recognised board

  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

  • Minimum aggregate marks: 50% in Physics + Chemistry + Biology

• Entrance Exam: Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 (conducted by NTA) with a valid score and All India Rank (AIR).

For MD/MS (3 years):

• Qualification: MBBS degree recognised by National Medical Commission (NMC).

• Must qualify NEET-PG with a valid score and All India Rank.

• Completion of compulsory rotating medical internship (CRMI) by the cutoff date specified by NMC/MCC.

• How to Apply for exams:
  Appear for the Relevant Entrance Exam

• Register for MCC Counselling and fillout your choices.

• Participate in Counselling Rounds.

• If allotted a seat, report to Amrita School of Medicine, verify your original documents and pay fees. 

• Once you receive confirmation, join classes/orientation.
