Army Institute of Management- AIM Kolkata Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Salary & Top Recruiters

AIMK has a dedicated placement cell to cater to the events and activities of placements. Being a frontrunner in the field of imparting professional management education, AIMK has an excellent track record of placements over the past 27 years. During the present year 2024, the highest salary offered was Rs 16.22 lakh p.a and the average was 7.65 lakh p.a. Over 115 companies participated in the Final Placement, and 51 companies participated in the Summer Placement programme. The students have mainly been placed in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Systems. Students are professionals in managerial roles in leading companies within and outside the country, across different industries. 

Internships (Summer Internship after 1st Year)

• Duration: 8–10 weeks (mandatory for all students).
• Stipend Range: INR 10,000 – INR 40,000 per month (average INR 15,000–25,000; higher in consulting/banking). Some are unpaid but offer good exposure/certificates.
• Conversion Rate to PPO: Very good — around 30–50% of students get Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) from their internship companies, especially in banking, consulting, and FMCG sectors.
• Common Internship Partners: Deloitte, EY, KPMG, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, ITC, Nestle, Reckitt, Reliance Retail, Genpact, LT Foods, H&M, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, PhonePe, Paytm, L&T, Bajaj Finserv, Aditya Birla Group.
• Roles Offered: Summer Analyst, Management Trainee, Finance Intern, Marketing Intern, HR Intern, Operations Intern, Supply Chain roles, Sales & Business Development.
• The cell pushes students to apply early (December–January) and helps with company shortlisting, recommendation letters, and interview prep.
