Admissions at CCET are primarily merit-based and follow the guidelines of Anna University and the Government of Tamil Nadu. The college offers B.E., B.Tech., and MBA programs.
Eligibility Criteria for B.E./B.Tech:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent with physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
Minimum aggregate: 45% for the general category.
Tamil Nadu candidates who studied VIII β XII in Tamil Nadu schools are eligible. A nativity certificate is required for certain cases.
Other state candidates who studied in Tamil Nadu or children of central government employees serving in Tamil Nadu for 5+ years are also eligible.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA:
A recognised three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Minimum aggregate: 50%
Admission Process:
Check if you meet the eligibility criteria by completing 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics for a B.E./B.Tech. or a bachelorβs degree for an MBA.
Register online at the official TNEA portal for B.E./B.Tech. or the TANCET portal for MBA.
Fill out the application form carefully and upload all required documents such as mark sheets and certificates.
Pay the application fee and submit the form.
For B.E./B.Tech, appear for TNEA counselling rounds based on your +2 mark rank and choose Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology during seat allotment.
For the MBA, take the TANCET exam and participate in the counselling process.
If you miss counselling seats, apply directly under the management quota by filling the college application form and submitting documents.
Pay the admission fee and confirm your seat once allotted.
