Delhi Technological University (DTU) offers a wide range of scholarships and fee concessions to support meritorious and economically weaker students. Scholarships are available for both UG and PG programs and are primarily merit-based, need-based, and category-based.
Major Scholarships at DTU:
1. Fee Concession / Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
- Family income up to INR 4.5 Lakh per annum: 100% Tuition Fee Waiver
- Income between INR 4.5 – 6 Lakh: Partial waiver (25%–75%)
- Applied through e-District Delhi / NSP Portal.
2. Post Matric Scholarship (for SC/ST/OBC/Minority)
- SC/ST students: Full tuition fee reimbursement + maintenance allowance
- OBC/Minorities: Partial to full support (income limit usually INR 2–8 Lakh)
- Applied via National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
3. Merit Scholarships
- Awarded to top rankers in each branch/year based on academic performance (CGPA).
- Amount varies from INR 10,000 to INR 50,000+ per year.
4. Other Scholarships
- Scholarship for wards of Defence/Police/Ex-Servicemen personnel.
- Scholarships for Girl students / Single Girl Child.
- External Scholarships: Prime Minister’s Scholarship, ONGC, NTPC, and private trusts.
- Continuation Scholarship: Based on yearly academic performance.
