DYPCOA has a dedicated Training and Placement (T&P) Cell which is also referred to as Placement Cell or under Dean Placements/TPO oversight. The cell supports B.Arch and M.Arch students in career development. It is an integral part of the college, focusing on bridging academia and industry through skill-building, internships, networking, and placement facilitation.

Key Activities and Functions of the Placement Cell:

• Career Guidance and Counseling - Personalized advice on career paths to help students in paving way to their successful career.

• Internship Facilitation - Strong focus on arranging quality internships, which often lead to full-time offers or build networks. The cell assists in sourcing opportunities and follow-ups.

• Skill Development Programs - In-house training on soft skills, communication, resume/portfolio building, interview preparation, and architecture-specific tools.

• Industry Interactions - Organizes guest lectures, workshops, expert sessions by practicing architects, pre-placement talks, and MoUs/partnerships with industry for exposure.

• Placement Drives and Support - Coordinates campus visits by recruiters, application assistance, mock interviews, and alumni networking.

DYPCOA primarily facilitates government scholarships and freeships for eligible students rather than offering many large internal or institute-funded merit scholarships. The college supports applications for state-level schemes, especially for reserved categories, economically backward students, and other qualifying groups. This aligns with Maharashtra's centralized scholarship system for professional courses like B.Arch.
