Guwahati College of Architecture has a dedicated Training & Placement Cell (TPC) that manages campus recruitments, Internships, and Career Guidance. It works throughout the year to connect students with architectural firms, construction companies, and design consultancies.  The main focus of Placement cell is on industry exposure and employability, not only on job placement.

Key Activities and Functions of the Placement Cell:

• Career Guidance and Counseling - Personalized advice on career paths to help students in paving way to their successful career.

• Internship Facilitation - Strong focus on arranging quality internships, which often lead to full-time offers or build networks. The cell assists in sourcing opportunities and follow-ups.

• Skill Development Programs - In-house training on soft skills, communication, resume/portfolio building, interview preparation, and architecture-specific tools.

• Industry Interactions - Organizes guest lectures, workshops, expert sessions by practicing architects, pre-placement talks, and MoUs/partnerships with industry for exposure.

• Placement Drives and Support - Coordinates campus visits by recruiters, application assistance, mock interviews, and alumni networking.
