IIT (BHU) Varanasi offers scholarship schemes to encourage study and financially help children who are not financially in a good state. To avail these programmes, students must fulfill eligibility criteria.
- It offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to 25% undergraduate students. Besides, there are several endowment scholarships offered by the Institute. Some other facilities are also provided to the undergraduate students in the form of Institute free studentship, scholarship, reimbursement of mess charges and pocket allowances to the students belonging to the SCs and STs.
- All the non sponsored students admitted to M.Tech./M.Pharm programs are provided financial Assistance which is equivalent to the Junior Research Fellowships.
- The Institute also offers a large number of Junior/Senior Research Fellowships to students admitted to Ph.D. programs.
