IIT Kanpur offers various kinds of scholarships supporting meritorious students. It also gives a need-based scholarship. Find the scholarship eligibility below:-
- Bright Minds Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who topped the JEE Advanced and got a rank in the TOP 100. They are given INR 3,00,000 yearly and cover full academic fee, along with hostel and books fees.
- Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship: This scholarship is given to the SC/ST category students whose parentsā income is below INR 4.5 Lakhs. Full academic fee is waived off along with a monthly stipend of INR 1000.
- INSPIRE Scholarship: This scholarship is for students who are enrolled in B.S. programs and have a rank in AIR in 10,000. They are given INR 60,000 annually and a research grant of INR 20,000.
