IIT Patna Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Salary & Top Recruiters

IIT Patna has a dedicated placement cell that bridges the gap between potential employers and students. The placement process at IIT Patna begins in the month of December and continues till April next year. Usually, IITs conduct their placement drives in two phases. IIT Phase 1 placement process starts in December, whereas the Phase 2 placement process starts in April.

The highest placement package is INR 82 LPA, and the average package recorded during the recent placement drive was INR 17 LPA. The average package for IIT Patna 2024 for BTech, MTech, and MSc programs stood at around INR 17 LPA, INR 15 LPA, and INR 7 LPA, respectively, with more than 300 offers being made and 210 companies visiting, according to the placement brochure 2024-25. IIT Patna witnessed participation from over 70 leading companies that offered roles in multiple profiles, including Data Science, Software Engineering, Consulting, Business Analytics, and R&D. Companies such as Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Accenture made 13, 9, 7, and 6 offers, respectively, during IIT Patna placements 2025.
