Indian Institutes of Technology- IIT Hyderabad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

• Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate (UG) courses to get admission at IIT Hyderabad,  Programmes provided in UG courses, you need to have a 10+2 certificate with a minimum 50% of marks for reserved categories (SC/ST, OBC), and they have 5% relaxation for aggregate marks. 
• Eligibility Criteria for postgraduate (PG) courses to get admission in IIT Hyderabad for MBA programmes, candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree of a minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with at least 50% marks at the graduation level. The final year students can also apply for admission, but they have to clear their graduation before admission.

Steps to apply,

• Visit the Official Website: Go to https://www.iith.ac.in and open the “Admissions” section.
• Choose Your Program: Select the course you wish to apply for (B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Des, or Ph.D).
• Check Eligibility & Entrance Exam: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and have appeared for the required entrance exam (JEE Advanced / GATE / JAM / CEED / NET).
• Register Online: Create an account on the respective admission or exam portal and fill in all required details carefully.
• Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, mark sheets, and other necessary documents.
• Pay the Application Fee: Complete payment through the online mode (credit/debit card or net banking).
• Submit the Application Form: Review all details and submit the form online.
• Counselling / Interview: Participate in the counselling (for UG/PG) or interview process (for Ph.D/M.Des) as per the institute’s schedule.
• Final Admission: Upon selection, verify your documents and pay the admission fee to confirm your seat at IIT Hyderabad.
