Kannur Medical College Kannur Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission to Kannur Medical College is mainly based on national-level entrance examinations. For MBBS, candidates must qualify in NEET-UG and then participate in the Kerala state counselling conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE). Students need to register online, fill their choice of colleges, and lock their preferences. Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and availability. 

Eligibility Criteria (MBBS): Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English. Minimum marks reaquaired 50% aggregate in PCB for General category; 40% for SC/ST/OBC. Minimum 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year. Must qualify NEET-UG with the required percentile.

Admission is entirely NEET-UG based and centralised. There is no direct management admission outside counseling.

1. Appear and Qualify NEET-UG — Conducted by NTA.

2. Register for Kerala State Counselling — Through the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, at the official website.

3. Fill Online Application — Submit details, upload documents, and pay the registration fee. 

4. Choice Filling & Locking — Select Kannur Medical College as one of your preferences, along with other colleges.

5. Seat Allotment — Based on NEET rank, category, reservation, and choices filled. Multiple rounds of counselling) are conducted.

6. Report to the College — After allotment, download the allotment letter and report to Kannur Medical College with original documents for verification and fee payment.

7. Document Verification & Admission Confirmation — Pay the tuition fee and complete admission formalities.
   

Admission Process for PG (MD/MS)

• Must qualify for NEET-PG.

• Participate in Kerala State PG Counseling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) / CEE Kerala.

• Some seats may also go through centralized MCC counselling (if applicable).
