Government Medical College, Wardha – Internship & Placement
Government Medical College Wardha offers a compulsory one-year rotating internship (CRMI) after completion of the 4.5-year MBBS course. The internship is conducted at its attached 500-bed teaching hospital and associated rural health centres. Students get hands-on training by rotating through all major clinical departments, including Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopedics, and Community Medicine. Interns receive a monthly stipend of approximately INR 18,000 as per Maharashtra Government rules.
Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI)
Duration: 1 year (mandatory after 4.5 years of MBBS).
Conducted at the attached 500-bed teaching hospital and associated rural health centres.
Students rotate through major departments: Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Community Medicine, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, etc.
