Maheshwara Medical College and Hospital Medak Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission Process & Eligibility Criteria for MBBS at Maheshwara Medical College. Admission is 100% through NEET-UG only. There is no separate entrance test by the college. Candidates from any state in India are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria (For MBBS - 2026-27)

• Age Limit: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year. No upper age limit (as per current NMC guidelines).

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate or equivalent examination with minimum aggrgate marks. 

• Entrance Exam: Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 and secure the minimum required percentile/cutoff as prescribed by NTA/NMC.

Eligibility Criteria (For MD/MS Admissions 2026-27)

• Educational Qualification: Must have completed MBBS degree from a college recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

• Internship: Must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March of the admission year.

• Registration: Must possess a valid permanent or provisional registration certificate from NMC or any State Medical Council.

• Entrance Exam: Must qualify NEET-PG 2026 and secure the minimum qualifying percentile/cutoff as prescribed by NBE/NMC.

Admission Process: 

1. Appear and Qualify NEET-UG conducted by NTA.

2. Register for Telangana State Counselling conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal.

3. Participate in Centralised Counselling (online web options filling).

4. Seats are allotted in different quotas: Competent Authority Quota (A-Category), Government quota seats (lower fees)

5. After allotment, report to the college, complete document verification, pay the tuition fee, and undergo medical fitness check.

6. Classes usually commence in September / October.
