Maheshwara Medical College and Hospital has a dedicated Career Guidance & Placement Support Cell that assists students and graduates. However, like most medical colleges, there is no traditional campus placement system.

Placement Outcomes: Most MBBS graduates either pursue PG courses, join government services, or start their own clinics. According to student feedback, around 60-70% of graduates secure good clinical opportunities with packages ranging from INR 2.5 LPA (freshers) to INR 42 LPA (experienced specialists). The attached teaching hospital itself absorbs many graduates as junior doctors or medical officers. 

Internship Programme: Maheshwara Medical College and Hospital provides a one-year compulsory rotating internship (CRMI) as an integral part of the MBBS curriculum. All graduates must complete this internship at the attached, which has a capacity of 750–1120 beds.

• Students rotate through all major clinical departments including Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Community Medicine, and others.

• The internship offers excellent hands-on clinical exposure due to high patient inflow from rural and surrounding areas.

• Stipend: As per Telangana Government norms (currently INR 25,000 – INR 30,000 per month approximately, subject to revision).

• Successful completion of an internship makes students eligible for full registration with the Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC).
