NID Bangalore has a dedicated placement support system as part of NID’s centralised Industry Interface and Placement (IIP) unit, managed from the main NID network. Placements are centralised across NID campuses, which means companies recruit talent from all campuses through a unified process.

The IIP Cell coordinates biannual placement drives. Placement offers from internships/graduation projects and industry interactions. Companies register through the official NID industry interface portal. Students register in their final year for portfolio presentations, interviews, and selections.

Responsibilities of Placement Cell:

• It prepares students through portfolio reviews, mock interviews, professional development workshops, grooming, and industry exposure events.
• It facilitates mandatory internships, which often lead to Pre-Placement Offers (PPO).
• The cell manages company registrations, schedules meetings, and ensures dairy recruitment.
• It also supports off-campus opportunities, alumni networking, and entrepreneurship guidance.
• It has an emphasis on roles in UX/UI, interaction design, digital gaming, retail experience, information design, and universal/inclusive design.
