To get admission in NIFT Shillong, students have to fulfil the eligibility criteria which are mentioned below:
Educational Qualification (Eligibility):
- For UG programs (B.Des): Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board with minimum required marks.
- For PG programs (M.F.M): Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognised university.
Accepted Entrance Exam: NIFT Entrance Exam followed by Situation Test for UG or GD/PI for PG).
Selection Process: Written exams (CAT+GAT) followed by Situation Test (for B.Des/B.F.Tech), Group Discussion/Personal Interview (for PG programs), and portfolio review, where applicable.
Application Fee: INR 3000
