National Institute of Technology- NIT Hamirpur Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

• B.Tech / B.Arch - Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (minimum 75% aggregate or top 20 percentile; 65% for SC/ST/PwD) + valid JEE Main score.
• M.Tech - Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (minimum 60%; 55% for SC/ST/PwD) + valid GATE score.
• MBA - Bachelor’s degree + valid CAT score.
• M.Sc - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject + valid IIT JAM score.
• Ph.D. - Master’s degree (minimum 60%) + GATE/NET or institute entrance test + interview.

Selection Criteria: Entrance Exam + Counselling / PI

Accepted Exams: JEE Main (B.Tech/B.Arch), GATE (M.Tech), CAT (MBA), IIT JAM (M.Sc)

How to Apply:

• Appear for the relevant national entrance exam.
• Register on the respective centralised counselling portal.
• Log in to the portal, fillin your preferred programs and select NIT Hamirpur as one of the choices.
• Participate in all counselling rounds, including special rounds if seats remain vacant.
• Accept the allotted seat and pay the seat acceptance fee online.
• After seat allotment, go to the NIT Hamirpur admission portal, log in with the allotted credentials, and complete online registration.
• Fill in personal and academic details, upload scanned documents, and pay the admission fee online.
• Download the provisional admission letter.
• Report to the institute on the scheduled date with original documents for verification, hostel allotment, medical check-up, and final fee payment if required.
