Shri Balwant Institute of Technology Admission Process
SBIT is affiliated to GGSIPU. All admissions for the academic session are conducted centrally through GGSIPU’s official portals. Admissions are primarily through national level exams or GGSIPU’s CET where applicable. All the required details are mentioned below:
Eligibility Criteria:
- For B.Tech: Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science/other technical subjects as compulsory, with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks
- For BBA/BCA/B.Com (Hons.): Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with minimum 50% aggregate
- For MBA: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
- For MCA: Bachelor's degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, minimum 50% marks.
NOTE: Relaxations in marks applied for Reserved category students as per GGSIPU norms. Candidates must also fulfill age requirement.
- Accepted Exams: JEE Main, CAT, CET
- Selection Criteria: Centralized online counseling conducted by GGSIPU.
How To Apply:
- Go to the official GGSIPU Admission Portal.
- Register yourself by creating an account.
- Fill the GGSIPU common application form for your preferred programme.
- Upload all the required documents.
- Pay applicable fee and submit the form.
- Appear for counselling. Afters results are out, participate in online choice filling and seat allotment.
- Once allotted SBIT, pay semester fee to secure the seat.
