SBIT has a dedicated Training & Placement Cell that actively works for students and provides 100% placement assistance to them. Successful placement rates recorded till this year is more than 85%. The Training & Placement Cell maintains a consistent communication with the leading companies for placement of the students. The training deals with making the student feel confident and develop both leadership as well as a managerial quality. The department has also developed a work-plan, which includes lectures by the specialist in public speaking, confidence building, stress and time management and attitudinal development.

Their Pre-placement training includes aptitude tests, mock interviews, group discussions, communication skills, and personality development. The placement cell organizes campus drives, industrial internships, and collaborations with industry partners. Some of the top sectors are predominantly in the IT sector. Other sectors includes Consulting & Analytics, Telecon & Finance, E-Commerce & Core Engineering, etc.
