Surabhi Institute of Medical Sciences Admission Process
Surabhi Institute of Medical Sciences admission process are strictly merit-based and centralized through the Telangana State Counselling process. The college offers 150 MBBS seats. All admissions are conducted through the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal.
Eligibility Criteria for MBBS:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
Minimum aggregate marks in PCB: 50% for General category, 40% for SC/ST/BC categories, and 45% for PwD candidates.
The candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on or before 31st December of the admission year (no upper age limit as per current NEET guidelines).
Must qualify the NEET-UG examination with the minimum required percentile/cutoff set by NTA for the respective category.
Admission Process;
Step 1: Appear and qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Step 2: Register for Telangana State NEET-UG Counselling on the official KNRUHS website by filling the online application form and paying the required processing fee.
Step 3: Upload scanned copies of all necessary documents (10th & 12th marksheets, NEET scorecard, caste/income certificates if applicable, domicile certificate for Category A, etc.).
Step 4: Participate in choice filling and locking, where candidates can select Surabhi Institute of Medical Sciences as a preferred college.
Step 5: Seat allotment is done in multiple rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round, and stray vacancy round if required) based on NEET rank, category, and seat availability.
Step 6: Download the allotment order and report to the college within the stipulated time for document verification, fee payment, and admission confirmation. Original documents must be submitted at the time of reporting.
