The SSBS Pune has its own placement helping students get placed in the top companies. This institute has an overall placement rate of 100% and reportedly, the highest and the average package were INR 50 LPA and INR 10.54 LPA. The students are mostly placed in Beckman Coulter, Meril Life Sciences, VyasLife, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, GRG Health, Reliance Life Sciences, and more. The students have also secured admissions to top PhD programs in different institutes that include the University of Queensland, CSIR, CCMB, UQ Graduate School, and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.

Placement process at SSBS:-

• The placement cell creates a bridge between students and companies, and sends invites to them.
• The recruitment organization sets the job requirements and eligibility criteria.
• The students are asked for screening or tests by the recruitment organizations, and students are shortlisted.
• Interested students apply for jobs in the recruitment drive.
• Companies provide offers to the shortlisted Students. 

The SBSS has various scholarship schemes available for the students, helping financially and rewarding the students on their merit and excellence. The students can avail the scholarship by providing the proof of documents at the institute’s scholarship cell. Find some of the scholarship schemes below:-

• Merit Scholarship Policy includes that students who got a 7.5 CGPA in PG and an 8.50 CGPA in UG can avail this scholarship scheme.
• NER Scholarships for students from the North-East Region include that students who belong to the North-East Region of India can avail this scholarship scheme.
• Sports Scholarship Scheme include that students who are representing the University at the Intervarsity/State Level/National and International Tournaments can avail this scholarship scheme.
