Admission Criteria of University College of Engineering, Arni

Course Level undergraduate (B.E. / B.Tech) is 4 years full-time, and to be eligible for admission into UCE Arni, a candidate must pass 10+2 (HSC) from a recognized board. Candidates must have studied the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Minimum qualifying marks are as per Anna University / Government of Tamil Nadu norms.
 

• Selection Criteriais no separate entrance exam, admission is purely based on Class 12 marks. Selection is done through TNEA Counselling (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) conducted by Anna University. Application Process is to register online for TNEA Counselling, upload academic documents, and rank list is prepared based on PCM marks. Participate in choice filling seat allotment based on rank, category, availability of seats. Report to UCE Arni for document verification & admission.
• Reservation Policy follows Tamil Nadu Government reservation system, special quotas available for SC / ST / BC / MBC / DNC, 7.5% Government School quota, differently-abled candidates, and ex-servicemen & sports quota. 
• Lateral Entry (For Diploma Holders), Diploma holders can join directly into 2nd year (3rd semester). Admission through TNEA Lateral Entry Counselling requires that you have completed a recognized Diploma in Engineering.
• Documents required are 10th & 12th mark sheets, transfer Certificate, community Certificate (if applicable), income Certificate (for scholarship), nativity Certificate, aadhaar Card, passport-size photographs.
