University College of Engineering, Arni Arani Scholarships: Eligibility & Scholarship Amount 2026

Scholarships at University College of Engineering, Arni, UCE Arni supports students financially through state and central government scholarships and schemes. These are designed to help economically weaker students, girls, and students from reserved communities. 

• State Government Welfare Scholarships
  Backward Class (BC/MBC) Welfare Scholarship, for students belonging to BC/BCM/MBC communities, family income must be less than ₹2,50,000 per year, helps reduce educational costs if eligible. Adi Dravida (SC/ST) Welfare Scholarship, for SC/ST students and converted Christians from the Adi Dravida community, family income under ₹2,50,000 per year, provides financial aid throughout the course.
• Special Government Schemes
  7.5% Government School Quota, reserved for students who studied from 6th to 12th grade in Government schools. These students can get full tuition + hostel fee waiver for 4 years if admitted under this quota. Pudhumai Penn Scheme (Girls), for girls who studied in government or aided schools. Provides a monthly stipend of ₹1,000 directly to the student’s bank account (DBT). Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme For boys who studied in government schools (including Tamil medium), also offers a ₹1,000 monthly stipend via direct benefit transfer.
• Central Government Scholarships
  Minority Scholarship for students from recognised minority communities (e.g., Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, Jain). Family income must be under ₹2,50,000 per year, helps cover partial tuition or academic expenses. AICTE Pragati Scholarship for girl students (up to two per family),  family income limit of ₹8 lakh per year. Encourages girls to pursue technical education by providing financial aid.
