Vellore Institute of Technology- VIT Vellore Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

• Postgraduate Selection Criteria: Minimum 60% at the graduation level from any recognized university.
• Undergraduate Eligibility Criteria- Applicants have to complete their higher secondary education with 60% aggregate marks from any recognised board. For reserved category students, the university provides 5% relaxation in the obtained marks in the board. 
• Entrance examination- VITEEE, applicants must qualify for the entrance examination to get admission in VIT Vellore.

• Go to the official website of VIT Vellore. 
• Tap on New Registration with valid documents and information. 
• Enroll for the new academic batch with the necessary documents and details of the candidates. 
• Pay the application fee and course fee through an online payment method. 
• Confirm the admission and wait for the Personal interview round. 

Selection procedure:- 

• Score in one of the VITEEE level entrance tests, 
• It may be noted that despite meeting the eligibility requirements, no guarantee of admission to the programmes, and the form will be rejected accordingly. 
• Applicants have to appear in the entrance examination, 
• Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to go next process, which is mentioned below. 
• Online application form submission to the institute. 
• Personal Interview- After the PI round, applicants will get an offer letter to continue their studies in the institution accordingly.
