VTU University offers a variety of scholarships to support meritorious students, reserved category students and students who belong to the EWS category. The University offers scholarships based on academic merit, reserved categories, Karnataka domicile status, financial need, and other parameters. These scholarships help in enabling students to focus on their studies without any financial stress. Find the details of some of the scholarships below:-
- Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students-
This scholarship is for the SC/ST/OBC category students whose family income is below the limit. Students will be provided with a full academic fee waiver along with an annual stipend of INR 10,000 to INR 20,000. - Karnataka State Scholarship for Minority Students-
This scholarship is for minority students from Karnataka whose family income is below INR 2.5 Lakhs. The students are provided with a full academic fee waiver along with a monthly stipend of INR 2000 for UG students and INR 3000 for PG students. - Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship (for SC/ST/OBC Research Scholars)-
This scholarship is for the PG students who are pursuing a PhD in technical programs. The students are provided with a monthly stipend of INR 31000, special research approval and academic fee waiver.
