Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the postponement of certain Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations that were earlier scheduled to be conducted on March 3, 2026. The decision has been taken due to administrative reasons. The board has released revised examination dates and important instructions for students appearing in the affected subjects.

Revised Examination Schedule

Class 10 Board Examination Updates

CBSE has postponed the Class 10 examinations scheduled on March 3, 2026. The decision impacts language and elective subjects conducted on that day.

Affected Subjects Include:

  • Tibetan

  • German

  • National Cadet Corps (NCC)

  • Other similar subjects scheduled for March 3, 2026

Revised Date: The above examinations will now be conducted on March 11, 2026.

Students appearing for these subjects will follow the same examination pattern, syllabus, and guidelines as previously announced. Only the examination date has been revised.

Class 12 Board Examination Updates

For Class 12 students, CBSE has postponed the Legal Studies examination that was scheduled for March 3, 2026.

Affected Subject: Legal Studies

Revised Date: The Legal Studies examination will now be conducted on April 10, 2026. All other Class 12 examinations will be held as per the original schedule released by CBSE.
