Scholarship at Bengal Institute of Technology (BIT), Kolkata, WB Government Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship (Swami Vivekananda Scholarship SVMCM) is offered to students with strong academic records. Applicable to economically weaker students of West Bengal and renewed every year based on performance.
OASIS Scholarship (For SC / ST / OBC Students)is provided by the Backwards Classes Welfare Department. It covers tuition fees and provides monthly allowance, and reserved category students can apply. AICTE Pragati Scholarship are for female students pursuing B.Tech, providing Financial assistance up to ₹50,000 per year and based on merit + income criteria. AICTE Saksham Scholarship for students with at least 40% disability which covers tuition fees + additional support amount.
Institution-Level Fee Concession BIT provides partial fee waivers for economically weaker students, Single-parent students, Students with excellent academic performance, and Concession is offered after evaluating documents. Educational Loan Assistance College assists students with bank loan documents through SBI, PNB, and HDFC. No collateral needed for loans up to ₹4 lakh (as per bank rules).
