Deccan College of Medical Sciences Hyderabad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission Process and Eligibility Criteria at Deccan College of Medical Sciences:- 

DCMS offers MBBS (200 seats) and various MD/MS postgraduate courses. All admissions are strictly based on NEET scores and centralized counselling. There is no direct or management admission outside the NEET process.

MBBS (Undergraduate) – 200 Seats

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB for General category (40% for SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates).

• Must qualify NEET-UG with the required cutoff percentile set by NMC.

Online UG Admission Process 2026

1. Appear and qualify in NEET-UG conducted by NTA.

2. Register for Telangana State NEET-UG Counselling conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal.

3. Participate in web counselling, choice filling, and seat allotment rounds.

4. After seat allotment, report to the college with all original documents, pay the tuition fees, and submit required bonds/bank guarantees.

5. The academic session generally starts in August.

Postgraduate MD/MS Courses

The college offers MD/MS in multiple clinical, para-clinical, and pre-clinical branches (total PG seats approx. 120–130).

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have completed MBBS from an NMC-recognised medical college.

• Must have completed 1-year compulsory rotating internship.

• Must hold permanent or provisional registration with NMC or State Medical Council.

• Must qualify NEET-PG with the required cutoff.

Online PG Admission Process 2026

1. Qualify NEET-PG conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).

2. Register for counselling: 50% seats through All India Quota (AIQ) counselling by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). 50% seats through Telangana State Quota counselling by KNRUHS.

3. Participate in choice filling and multiple rounds of seat allotment.

4. After allotment, report to the college, submit original documents, pay fees, and execute the required service/study bonds (mandatory for PG courses).
