Scholarships & Financial Support at Deccan College of Medical Sciences

Deccan College of Medical Sciences offers limited scholarships on its own and mainly supports students through Telangana State Government schemes. Eligible students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC, and minority categories can avail full or partial tuition fee reimbursement under the Telangana Fee Reimbursement Scheme. 

Economically weaker and reserved category students can also apply for post-matric scholarships through the Telangana e-Pass portal. Merit-cum-means scholarships are provided to a few deserving students based on academic performance and family income. 

All MBBS students receive a monthly stipend of around INR 20,000 during their compulsory one-year internship. However, students admitted under Management (Category B) and NRI quota are generally not eligible for government fee reimbursement and have to pay full fees. Students can also explore central government schemes through the National Scholarship Portal.
