The admission process for IMT Hyderabad involves several stages, designed to evaluate the overall suitability of candidates for their Post Graduate Diploma in Management- PGDM and other programs. The admission process are as:

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university.
• Work Experience: While work experience is not mandatory, it can be a plus for candidates applying for the Executive PGDM program.
• Entrance Exams: The Candidates must have a valid good score in one of the following entrance exams for the admission purpose:

- CAT (Common Admission Test)

- XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)

- GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

- CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)

Application Process

• Online Application: Candidates need to fill out the online application form available on the IMT Hyderabad website. The form typically requires personal details, academic records, and entrance exam scores.
• Application Fee: An application fee is required, which can be paid online during the application process.
• Supporting Documents: Candidates need to submit:

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: Based on the entrance exam scores, the academic performance, and also some of the other factors, IMT Hyderabad will shortlist all the eligible candidates for further stages of the selection process.
• Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in a Group Discussion to assess their communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who perform well in the GD are then called for a Personal Interview. The interview panel assesses candidates' managerial potential, leadership qualities, and overall fit with the program.
• Final Selection: The final selection is based on a combination of entrance exam scores, GD and PI performance, academic records, and relevant work experience (if any).

Admission Offer

• Offer Letter: Selected candidates receive an admission offer letter from IMT Hyderabad. The letter will include details about the admission fee, program start date, and other relevant information.

Enrollment

• Confirmation: To confirm their admission, candidates need to accept the offer by paying the admission fee and completing any other formalities required by the institute.
