IMT Hyderabad Hyderabad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university.
• Work Experience: While work experience is not mandatory, it can be a plus for candidates applying for the Executive PGDM program.
• Entrance Exams: The Candidates must have a valid good score in one of the following entrance exams for the admission purpose:

Application Process

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: Based on the entrance exam scores, the academic performance, and also some of the other factors, IMT Hyderabad will shortlist all the eligible candidates for further stages of the selection process.
• Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in a Group Discussion to assess their communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who perform well in the GD are then called for a Personal Interview. The interview panel assesses candidates' managerial potential, leadership qualities, and overall fit with the program.
• Final Selection: The final selection is based on a combination of entrance exam scores, GD and PI performance, academic records, and relevant work experience (if any).
