Indian Institute of Management- IIM Sambalpur Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur accepts entrance exam scores for admission. The national entrance exams, which are accepted, are CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF(UGC/CSIR), and the RAT research aptitude test. The Institute offers MBA, MBA-BA, MBA for Working professionals, MBA in fintech management, and also MDP. Find the eligibility criteria and the selection process for admission 2026 below:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

• MBA: Students required to have 50% in a bachelor’s degree and 45% for SC/ST students. 
• MDP: This program is for working professionals and requires 50% in a bachelor’s degree.
• PhD: This program for a bachelor’s degree with 55%, and a master’s degree with 60%.
• B.S. in Management: students must have a 70% in the 12th board, and 65% for the SC/ST/PwD students. CUET UG Scores are accepted for admission.
• B.S. in Data Science: students must have 70% in the 12th board, and 65% for the SC/ST/PwD students. IIT JEE (Mains) scores are accepted for admission.

Selection process for Admission 2026:-

• Students must qualify CAT exam to be eligible for admission. 
• For B.S. programme admission, students must qualify in the CUET PG or IIT JEE Mains exam.
• Students must fill out the application form and will be shortlisted based on various parameters such as CAT score, prior academic record and performance, work experience, and performance in the personal interview.
• Shortlisted students will be further required to qualify in the Pre-Personal Interview, which is of 80 marks:
• CAT score- 40 marks
• Class 10 academic performance- 3 marks
• Class 12 academic performance- 3 marks
• Graduation academic performance- 4 marks
• Work experience- 20 marks
• Gender diversity- 10 marks
• Further, students must attend a personal interview, and the final merit list will be out.
