IIM Sambalpur offers scholarships mainly focused on need-based or financial-based scholarships. Students can apply for a scholarship through the official website of the IIM Sambalpur and must further provide the valid documents for verification. Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA): This scholarship is given based on the family income and the studentās academic performance.
- If the family income is up to INR 1.05 Lakh, then the student will be given a 100% academic fee waiver.
- If the family income is in the range of INR 1.05 Lakh and INR 3 Lakh, then students will be given a 75% academic fee waiver.
- If the family income is in the range of INR 3 Lakh and INR 4.5 Lakh, the students will be given a 50% academic fee waiver.
Top Class Education Scheme for Students with Disabilities (SwDs)
- This scholarship is primarily for students with disabilities above 40%, and has valid proof documents for the same. Furthermore, the family income must not be above INR 6 Lakh. These are some benefits of this scholarship:-
- Tuition fee and non-refundable charges up to ā¹2 lakh per annum
- Purchase of computer and accessories: ā¹30,000 (one-time)
- Purchase of aids and assistive devices: ā¹30,000 (one-time)
- Maintenance allowance for hostellers: ā¹3,000/month, for day scholars: ā¹1,500/month
- Books and stationery: ā¹5,000 per annum
- Special allowances related to disability types: ā¹2,000/month
